![]() ![]() ![]() This is a great way to spend gold at high levels, where you might amass a hoard without much to spend it on.Īnother reward you’ll get from the Battle Pass is a currency called hilts, which you can turn in at the Hilt Trader in Westmarch. In Westmarch, you’ll find the Rarities and Antiquities Trader, and you can spend gold with them to roll for random items which have a low chance of being legendary. ![]() In fact, there’s a free version of the battle pass in Diablo Immortal that will dish out legendary items at levels 10 and 20 and rare items multiple times as you level. They'll claim it was because of "player feedback" but it will really be how they intended to have it be all along: release it with a system that may target whales and impatient folk to spend big early on to try and maximize easy cash and then relax it a couple months later. As a non-spender, you can still get higher-quality items pretty regularly. I also expect Blizzard to adjust things soon with legendary crests and anything else people complain about. I am not saying this is for sure but rather I won't be surprised if it happens. I could see an issue with the raids though where the paying aspect may eventually come into play and non paying folks will be locked out. Again, I couldn't care less as long as I can actually still kill the things. ![]() If it takes me longer to kill things than someone that has spent a bunch of cash then so be it. I have no interest in pvp and I couldn't care less about leaderboards or being "the best" because IMO, making it a priority to be "the best" in a video game (and a mobile game at that) is pretty sad. Unless there is a huge change at 60 with the content after that, I don't see why I would feel the need to spend since I'm able to handle everything I have been up against. I'm at 57 right now and am still mostly enjoying it (starting to get a Lost Ark vibe though) and haven't felt any need to spend on anything. ![]()
